Rohrmoos Tour | 303
střední partially opened Mountainbike · Schladming
The mountain bike route between Pointner and Wieslechner is closed due to a landslide.
The Rohrmoos loop leads through the landscapes of Schladming, Rohrmoos and Pichl without any major climbs. There are many places to stop for refreshments along the way. Ideal for beginners who do not yet have much experience on a mountain bike.
- Access permitted: 15 May to 01 October
- 1h after sunrise to 1h before sunset
The installation of the new MTB signage, which also includes updated loop numbers, is currently underway. These changes are already reflected in the new 2025 tour brochure. However, minor discrepancies may still occur on-site due to the presence of the old (green) signage. We kindly ask for your understanding.
The route starts at Planet Planai, heading first towards the Evangelical Church before turning left into the Talbachklamm. This section takes you through the impressive gorge, gradually ascending into the Untertal. Once you reach the Untertal, follow the road to the right onto the Tälerstraße, then take a left onto the Ahornweg. This picturesque path winds through a tranquil area, eventually bringing you to the "Rohrmooser Frei" and finally to Rohrmoos.
Currently, the direct route via the Reiterkreuzweg is closed. Instead, a detour leads you through the Tauernalm, an ideal stop to take in the stunning Dachstein panorama. From here, the trail continues towards Preunegg. Cross the Strickerbrücke and descend to the Preuneggjet, the base station for the Reiteralm Trails.
Next comes a thrilling descent down to the Enns River. Upon reaching the riverbank, turn right onto the Enns Cycle Path and follow the river towards Schladming. After passing through the city gate, you'll find more opportunities for a well-deserved break before returning to your starting point at Planet Planai.
Follow the A10 to Altenmarkt. There join the B320 and continue in the direction of Liezen. At the Schladming exit, turn right at the Jet petrol station and follow Coburgstraße to the Planai car park on the left.
From Graz:
Follow the A9 to Liezen. There join the B320 and continue in the direction of Schladming. At the Schladming exit, turn left at the Jet petrol station and follow Coburgstraße to the Planai car park on the left.
Or directly to the "Planet Planai" stop, where there are rental options on site.
