Storytelling café at the Paula Grogger Museum, Öblarn

Which people have left their mark on your life? Friendships and partnerships characterise life, and the Paula Grogger Museum knows all about them - let's take a stroll through your own stories and those of others!

In the July edition of our storytelling café at the Paula Grogger Museum, we will be focussing on partnerships and friendships for life! In the home of Styrian poet Paula Grogger (1892-1984), we learn interesting details about a form of cohabitation that was unusual for the time: Paula Grogger, who never married, spent decades of her life in this house together with her housekeeper ‘Maridl’. This put the two of them well ahead of their time - after all, they travelled their lives together. However, we don't just dwell on the past, but also want to hear from them how much friendships, partnerships and so-called ‘life people’ have shaped their lives. What experiences have you had, what stories would you like to share with us?
